The organization is based in Germany with a strong global presence in the most advanced and rapidly developing nations.   Although SAP has recognized substantial growth in market share and profits a strategic plan and implementation methodology is necessary to remain competitive.
Overview
     This strategic plan will focus on SAP’s supply chain management services. SAP is already a leader among the automotive manufacturers. The automotive market, however, still provides ample opportunity for growth, in addition to other untapped market segments.   The global economy, industry in general, and the automotive vertical continue to evolve.
     SAP, in order to remain competitive must examine the changing environment to anticipate and position for functioning effectively and profitably under various external and internal forces. This plan will examine the operating environment SAP must function within, take into account the organizations strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, define critical success factors, establish goals, define strategies and an overarching grand strategy, provide a forecast of potential revenue streams, and establishing an outline to put the plan into action.
